Hei Kam was born
in Hong
Kong in 1981. He finished his high school education in Singapore and he received his B.S. degree in Electrical
Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University
of California at Berkeley in 2004. Hei is currently pursuing his PhD degree
in UC Berkeley (expected graduation date: 2009). He is the recipient of the
Ford Motor Scholarship and the Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need
(GAANN) fellowship.
Hei would have been an
economist had he not chose to be an electrical engineer. At his leisure time, Hei enjoys reading
history, and he is particularly interested in, though he surely is not an
expert in, the regional varieties of languages. Hei also likes
watching and playing soccer and he is a firm supporter of the England national football team. |
