Dear BSIM Users, Thank you for your support of the BSIM models. We are releasing the BSIM3v3.2.3 models on October 05, 2001. BSIM3v3.2.3 provides bug fixes over its previous version, BSIM3v3.2.2. These bugs were discussed and approved at the September 2001 Compact Model Council (CMC) Meetings. Some of the code is cleaned up to be more efficient. The 1/f noise bug fix avoids negative DelClm when calculating noise density by turning off the second part of the noise density equation (see Chapter 8 of the manual). In order to avoid changing model parameter values given by the model card, three more pre-calculated variables are added and assigned in b3temp.c for temperature parameters of parasitic diodes. The model parameter ACDE is a capMod 3 parameter and is now checked only when capMod =3 to avoid warning messages when other capMods are used. A BSIM3 preprocessor error is fixed by making assignments to the pParam structure in the non-binning case . There are five bug fixes for BSIM3v3.2.3. The complete list of bugs and fixes, the BSIM3v3.2.3 source code, and the model documentation can be downloaded at http://www-device.eecs.berkeley.edu/~bsim3/get.html We welcome your feedback on this model.
