Announcement on BSIM3v3(alpha) Model Release (April 25,1995)

The source code, equations and parameter list of the BSIM3v3(alpha) model are
now available by FTP. The instructions on how to ftp the files is given below.
If you have obtained the equations from the BSIM3 FTP site before, please note
 that  the bulk charge expressions in the capacitance model has been changed 
slightly. Please discard the old equations. Also, non quasi-static charge model is not available at the present time. 



                 INSTRUCTIONS of FTP BSIM3V3 FILES:

The BSIM3 anonymous ftp site contains the following files.

  bsim3.tar.Z - a compressed and tarred file of the BSIM3v3
                source code directory
  bsim3eqn.ps.Z - a postscript file of the BSIM3v3 model equations and parameter 
table.  

This is the procedure to obtain these files.
  1.  ftp rely.eecs.berkeley.edu
         or
      ftp 128.32.156.10

  2. login in as "anonymous"
  3. Enter <tab key> as the password.
  4. Type "binary"
  5. Change directory to /pub
  6. Use "get" to obtain the files.

Once bsim3.tar.Z is in your directory, type the commands

  uncompress bsim3.tar.Z
  tar -xvf bsim3.tar

and a directory /bsim3 will be created containing all of the BSIM3 files.

To print a postscript file, type

  uncompress bsim3eqn.ps.Z
  lpr bsim3eqn.ps
